The Minister of Education and Vocational Training, Pilar Alegr\u00eda, visited the CPIFP Corona de Arag\u00f3n on October 4, 2021. The head of Education held a meeting with representatives of the center and of partner companies in Dual Vocational Training, among which our colleague Jorge P\u00e9rez was representing IQE.<\/p>\n\n
The minister was able to learn about IQE’s participation in this educational model in which our company has been participating for five years. During the visit, the new applied technology classrooms inaugurated this academic year 2021-2022 were shown, as well as other facilities of the center, including the chemistry laboratory and the mechanical manufacturing classroom.<\/p>\n\n
Dual Vocational Training is a training modality in which students in the second year of the upper cycle of Vocational Tranining spend more than half of their time in the company as apprentices. The student’s training is supervised at all times by two tutors, one from the educational center and the other from the company.<\/p>\n\n
Dual Vocational Training is an innovative educational model that offers great benefits to both companies, educational centers and apprentices, and represents an opportunity to create a “pool” of future qualified employees, reducing the risks of adaptation of employees to the job positions. There are already three IQE colleagues who have joined our staff after completing this type of training.<\/p>\n\n
